Argumentive Question

Many communities gathered to share meals. Develop a position on the value or function of meal times within culture or community with what you are familiar.

Meal time is important because you have the opportunity to spend time with your family. "Having time together as a family is important and the easiest time to get together is around a meal." You can bring a family closer by having food. "Turning off the TV allows the family to connect and make memories. together by asking children about their day, school, friends, goals, and more." When there is no electronics being used, this makes the family get closer. Mealtimes can also be important to talk about your day.

This chapter talks about Grant and when he was in school with an old friend of his named Antoine. I really see how race really effect how they were living back then. As I learn that Grant and Antoine become aware how far African Americans get with education, it never ends. Thid makes me feel bad for the black community back then but also amazing to see that they want to make a change.
