Sewing Class

  One class that we need at B.C. Rain High School is a sewing class. It is important to have a sewing class because it gives you power over a limited decorating budget. It opems creativity when you sew a simple garmet. Over time, sewing can save you money by providing a means for making goods and it insured unlimited possibilities for repurposing almost anything made from fabric. Sewing promtes self-esteem and sense of independence.

  Sewing can apply their skills toward creating quilts, clothing, bags, slipcovers, and draperies. Examination of appliqués, seeing techniques, fabrics and threads provides a through background for students who want to obtain sewing jobs. Also, to pursue sewing as a recreational hobby. Common concepts that can be taught in sewing class are fabric types, sewing machines, patterns, threads, buttons and zippers, and stitching.
