A Lesson Before Dying Chapter 1-3 Reflection

Chapters 1-3 hade me thinking about how it was back then during that time when African Americans were being treated wrong by Whites. Jefferson made a crazy decision by not running. Even though he didn't know what to do, they dhoulshou have made fun of him and using his race to prove that he is innocent. If I was in Jefferson's position, I would feel some type of way about being called a hog.

A Lesson Before Dying Chapter 8 Reflection

This chapter talks about Grant and when he was in school with an old friend of his named Antoine. I really see how race really effect how they were living back then. As I learn that Grant and Antoine become aware how far African Americans get with education, it never ends. Thid makes me feel bad for the black community back then but also amazing to see that they want to make a change.
